Dr. Mindy Schwartz

Professor of Medicine - Founder of CHOMP

Mindy Schwartz is a general internist and medical educator who has practiced at the university of Chicago for 35 years (since 1987).
Medicine has transformed dramatically in that short time. My academic interests have involved the understanding of the historical basis for our daily clinical practice- what I call clinical historical connections. Over the last many years, I have done my best to share by passions and interest with  those at all levels of training from undergraduates, medical students to residents and colleagues. I have regularly invited clinicians to consider our professions history and what it means to be a doctor.

Chomp has been the outgrown of these academic and professional projects.
